Regular exercise has proven to provide us with an array of health benefits ranging from weight management to improved sleep quality. These benefits proceed far beyond aesthetics and physical performance, creating noticeable changes in one’s mental and emotional health also.
Exercise looks different for everyone. For some that may be training in the gym and for others that may be running in the mornings, or even both. There is no right or wrong, at the end of the day any movement is better than none!
So find something you love, something that you enjoy doing and make it work for you.
Struggling to fit exercise into your weekly routine?
Here are a few tips from us:
- Find something that you enjoy! Have fun with it, get your body moving in any way you can.
- Make your goals achievable. Start small by beginning with 1-2 days a week and work up from there
- Get an accountability buddy. This could be starting with a friend or even working with a coach – like one of our amazing coaches here at The Performance Centre 🙂
- Make it a priority!! Schedule it into your calendar – without a plan it is unlikely to happen.
